“The product was great but the communication was lacking. It took a long time to get the product that was ordered and no reply was received from emails sent in regards to status.”

“Good variety of items and well made items. However, from when I placed the order to when I received an email about it being dispatched was a much longer period of time than anticipated and it would be nice to have known that BEFORE I placed my order so I could plan accordingly. Also, I send an email to customer service with no reply at all.”

The page where you placed the order CLEARLY says on the delivery information panel that the item is not held in permanent stock and to allow 10-14 WORKING days OVER the standard delivery time: http://www.scotclans.com/product/clan-crest-badge-small/ you order was placed on June 13th and dispatched on June 22nd. Thats 9 days which is actually less than we advise. Ive searched back through our mail system and can find no record of any emails received. Im not sure how you would like us to do better - we dispatched the item ahead of schedule and have no record of any customer enquiries.

“The items I purchased were well made but the material was much thinner than I had expected, especially as one was a woollen scarf. It was wool but not the thick winter one I was expecting.”

From the item description: "Gents matching scarf and cap in 100% pure new wool. Sizes: 54" Scarf, 3/4" stretch headband one size cap. Both in springweight tartan." Note "Springweight" - this is a fine weight wool - had you required a thicker brushed wool scarf this could have been arranged

“I ordered a tartan tie and a clan pin. Both seem to be of high quality, and I'm very happy with them - wore them to a wedding this past weekend. Communication from ScotClans did not happen, even after several attempts to contact via Skype, phone, and email.”

have searched all our email inboxes - no record of any emails - no calls logged during work hours. all confirmation and dispatch emails were sent on schedule and item delivered within the expected timeframe. sorry you seem to have had issues with communication but we are careful to respond to all emails especially to our dedicated support email address.

“Was happy with my purchases but very disappointed to see the "Made in China" tag inside the wallet. The Scottish play was close to the Duncan Tartan, my grandfather's. Bought it because I thought it was made in Scotland. I have a cape, scarf and other Duncan gifts. From Scotland. Not happy that it was made in China. The license plate was very nice and I gave it to my son. He is happy with it. Otherwise it would be five stars, but made in China should be noted on the ad for the wallet. It is very deceiving. Have purchased several items from Ireland and they have been made in Ireland. Have been there three times. Hope to get to Scotland soon to Aberdeen. Love Scotland. Anne O'Donnell Consedine”

“The business card case arrived as scheduled and it is quite attractive. However as I pointed out in an earlier response to you the metal case was stamped from thin sheet metal and the edges were sharp enough to cut! I was able to cut paper with one edge but am not brave enough to try it on my skin or clothing. Using a fine buffer I was able to smooth the edges to a degree that I feel is safe.”

I dont understand how we could have made you happier on this occasion. This is the description of the product on the site: "These high quality linen napkins are printed with your clan crest. Napkins are white and around 17 inches square. Sold singly but if you need to order larger sets please talk to us as we can arrange discounts. Printed to order please see notes over for added delivery times. Also crests are printed on one corner of the napkin, if you prefer a different placement that works better with your fold style let us know." THREE times in the description it says the crest is printed - at no point do we say its embroidered. Its a bit like ordering a glass of wine and then being disappointed you were not served champagne. its not the same product.

“When I received the item it wasn't like the picture on your website. The stuffed animal's shirt (lamb) on the website had the clan crest with a banner below saying "Wee Lockhart" and the one I got says "Clan Lockhart." I ordered it as a first birthday gift for my granddaughter and I liked the "Wee Lockhart." I was slightly disappointed.”

why would you expect it to be that size when the page clearly states it is 7.5" x 9" (about 190 x 230 mm roughly) the size is clearly indicated on the page. its also CLEARLY stated that its printed so no metal tags. Also a coat of arms is personal heritable property - they belong to the individual granted those arms - this type of stuff is sold in quantity by the bucket shops who don't care about heraldry - or even being accurate. We sell crests - and do not sell coats of arms :-)

“My family & I are pleased with my purchase of the 6 small brooches showing 'Clan Cathcarts' motto, crest, & plaid. We were disappointed with such small print of the family name. We needed a magnifying glass to see it. However, all things considered we are happy & will order other items. Thanks for caring. Jane”

“The service, packaging (including gift wrap) & delivery were perfect. However, there were a couple of imperfections on the actual product ( Clan Crest 3in. Pewter Quaich With Gold Coloured Trim Clan: Munro) . The stamp on the bottom of the Quaich was feint on one side.”

“Customer service was very good ....I wanted a clan name wth a different spelling to the one advertised and was given excellent assistance. However when the pen arrived I was disappointed because the name was in such minuscule lettering that it could barely be read with a magnifying glass....this is the truth not sarcasm Lynda Clark”
