My order arrived 4weeks after Burn’s night having been ordered well in advance. It was therefore of no use to me.

I purchased online a Graham Montrose golf cap for my husband last December 15, 2021 that was suppose to be my christmas gift for him but until now I havent't received the same. customer bought 2 lightweight scarves from us on 28th November. These had to be custom made but because we knew the mill was taking UP TO SIX WEEKS to make them we ordered the cloth from them and made them ourselves to EXACTLY the same standard. In doing this we got them out IN THREE DAYS! sadly though a package travelling OVER 3 THOUSAND MILES in the middle of a pandemic with mail services disrupted like never before then took a few weeks to get there. the customer then complained that this wasn't what they wanted despite the very clear description on the website - then claimed they had ordered from us lots of times. We checked this - they ordered a lambswool scarf two years ago - this order was for a different type of scarf and they were upset that it was..... different. We eagerly await the scarves coming back to us but guess what, they've never arrived - I wonder if the slow mail service might be an issue? (scratches chin). We don't mind bending over backwards but it's irritating when someone takes that opportunity to kick you in the nuts.

Placed an order on 11/29 for a Christmas gift. Paid $10 in shipping for a $23 order. Never received tracking info and finally emailed twice when I hadn’t received the order by 12/15. Received email stating it was shipped on 12/13, and it would take another 2-3 weeks to arrive —-clearly after Christmas. They stated I didn’t not pay for tracking so they couldn’t provide more info. This has been a disappointing experience when I ordered this a month in advance and paid another 50% over the purchase price for shipping and neither received the product or tracking for the product. Cannot recommend.

Ok first of all the order was received on November 29th but we didn't get it till the start of business on the 30th. This was for a custom made item in a rare tartan. This was dispatched on the 3rd of December so less than 4 days to custom make and dispatch the item. The customer has several options regarding tracking - this customer opted for the cheaper one (Standard Shipping (not tracked) ) It even says 'not tracked' on the option so of course, we can't track the parcel. Customer shipping to an APO address, which always takes longer. The package is literally leaving the UK, then being posted to the USA then going back to Europe. I fail to see how someone doesnt understand this when it's their own address. From our experience 'off base' addresses always work better.

Hi, placing the order was very easy but waiting for my goods was a different matter. website stated 4 weeks from placing my order. I received no notification at all from yourselves regarding this order apart from the very first email confirming my order. I waited 5 weeks expecting my order to be delivered but nothing. I phoned scotclans only to find out that the tartan I had ordered was out of stock. When was I going to receive notification? Doubt I ever would have! I finally received my order after waiting 7 weeks with no apology at all. Very disappointed in your service.

Of the two items you ordered one had this to say on the delivery information panel: "This product is made to order and can take 3-4 weeks OVER the standard delivery time." so 3-4 weeks plus the two weeks standard delivery is 5-6 weeks. The tartan was out of stock at the mill - this happens and quite often we don't find out about it till we chase it up and this particular mill isn't great at keeping us in the loop. when we did discover this we ordered the material from another mill and covered the additional cost ourselves and made the item here for you by one of our trained kilt makers. So despite all of this it was maybe a week late. We are desperately sorry for this inconvenience.

Never received order, have not heard from customer service since January despite emailing every few months. It has been seven months since I placed an order. The order was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my father, and now we’re well past his birthday as well. I also have not received any information about a refund, which I would much rather take, at this point.

There proved to be a very long delay from order date to delivery. Only after I queried this did you chase up the order from the mill. i would have expected better service.

Very disappointed.Bear was very cheap looking a triangle of tartan round neck far too big and just looked silly.Wanted this as a heritage present but will languish till I get to a charity shop!

I am still wondering what has happened to my order ID:38311 for 2 x 4 Ancient MacLaren wool napkins. they were ordered ono7.10.2020. I realise that there are problem with Covid-19 but over 2 months for a delivery and no email is a bit too long. Please try and trace this order.

10 days after order date items were shipped (10/09/2020) was told to expect delivery in 2 to 3 weeks it has been almost 6 weeks and I have not received items that were ordered.

Dear Mr Kennon. Your order is in transit as you know - i'm not sure how you can expect us to expedite an order that isn't tracked and is already in transit. As i'm sure you are aware the US postal service is struggling at the moment with the US election and Covid issues. Orders are taking far longer than normal to get to US destinations. We expect the backlog to clear now that the election is over and the USPS can start to recover.

Ordered on Sept 27, item shipped Oct 2. It is now November 11 and I still haven’t received my order. Very disappointed. Ordered the tam for a November 7 event and still don’t have it. Gerri Lumsden

This order for as custom made item was turned around in a week. you chose the slowest mail service that we offer, in the middle of a pandemic and a US election with an unprecedented number of mail-in ballots all using the same USPS service. We are seeing delivery times up to 8 weeks in some states where the mail service is struggling to cope. Services are only starting to return to normal now

I ordered a Stole on 22 March, due to covid I expected some delay. I was told 20 May after I followed up that it would be a couple of more weeks so I waiting again. After not getting a response to my emails in June I sent a FaceBook message and was told one more week. Then I messaged again and was told they run out of my family Tartan. Was finally cotact on 27 July to say it was on the way. I was not given a tracking number and now have sent 3 more follow up messages and 2 emails and had no response from ScotClan. Hopefully someone will see this review and contact me with an update on my order.

The embroidery work is superior; very impressive. Unfortunately, the shirt is horrible. I ordered a size small, yet it fits like a large. The sleeve cuffs end 2 inches past my finger tips. I had placed an order with the Kilt Society for a similar plain shirt and it fits well. The sleeve cuffs end at the base of my thumb. I’ll just chalk up the loss and be more vigilante with the next vendor.

I ordered something for my sons birthday over a month in advance and got it a week after and had to pay expedited shipping - i had sent emails over the course of the month as there was no updates or communication on ship date and when i did it was too late ...i will save it for christmas now

Ordered on the 9th of April for my mother's birthday on the 27th of June. It's now the 18th of June and no gift to give next week. AVOID if you want to give as a gift anytime soon. Contacted them and can do nothing because I didn't pay for tracking.

The 'Birthday Gift' in question was a framed print costing £16.00. The order was placed in the middle of the Covid Lockdown. Despite the fact that the customer was having this item shipped for a birthday from Scotland to Australia and had the option to choose an express service they decided to opt for the cheapest possible option that doesn't have tracking. Global mail services have been massively effected by lockdown as mail couriers are prioritising essentials over other items. Also with flight cancellations the whole mail system is taking almost twice as long for items to pass through it. Sadly none of this appears to be acceptable and the customer is now disputing the transaction via PayPal and trying to get her money back. She seems to be under the impression that were withholding the tracking information because she didnt pay for it. Im unclear how we can add tracking to an untracked package that left us several weeks ago.
